Description

The Camphor plank is a members-only item in Old School RuneScape. It is a key material for the Sailing skill. Camphor planks sit one tier above mahogany planks as core boat parts. Players use them for shipbuilding, for building facilities, and for rowboat spaces that let you return to mooring points from the mainland without your own boat.

Camphor planks are used in many builds. These include camphor hull parts, the camphor cargo hold, camphor repair kits, the bosun's workbench, the advanced chum station, the fathom stone, the gale catcher, the hemp trawling net, the adamant cannon, the adamant salvaging hook, and adamant helms for the raft, skiff, and sloop.

Players can make these planks at a sawmill from camphor logs. One log makes one plank, or two planks with a sawmill voucher. The Plank Make spell also works. It needs level 86 Magic and the Dream Mentor quest, and it gives 90 Magic XP per cast.

Camphor planks are tradeable and noteable, and they weigh 0.8 kg each. Buying them saves time on logs and sawmill trips, so you can get straight to building your ship.
