Description
Camphor logs are logs cut from camphor trees in Old School RuneScape. These trees grow on the Great Conch and need level 66 Woodcutting to chop. Players with level 66 Farming can also grow their own camphor tree from a sapling in a hardwood tree patch.
The main use for camphor logs is making camphor planks. A sawmill will turn each log into a plank for 2,500 coins. The Lunar spell Plank Make can do the same job for less money but uses runes. Camphor planks are a key part of the Sailing skill. Players use them for boat upgrades like hulls, masts, canvas sails, and crates for rafts, skiffs, and sloops.
Camphor logs have other uses too. They can be burned with level 66 Firemaking for 180 experience each. They can also be made into an empty camphor blowpipe or camphor pyre logs.
Camphor logs are members-only items. They are tradeable and noteable, but they do not stack and cannot be worn. Each log weighs 2 kg. These logs save time for players who want to train Sailing or Firemaking without chopping trees themselves.
