The Cleaning cloth is a members item in Old School RuneScape. It is a simple tool with one main job. It wipes poison off a weapon. If you use it on a stackable item, like poisoned darts, it removes the poison from the whole stack at once.
The cloth has other uses too. It can remove the colour from an abyssal whip or a dark bow if a recolouring item has been applied. It can also clean Blamish Oil off an oily fishing rod or an oily pearl fishing rod. One cloth can be used many times.
Players make a cleaning cloth by using Karamjan rum on a piece of silk. It can also be bought for 60 coins from Tamayu in Tai Bwo Wannai after finishing the Tai Bwo Wannai Trio quest. Tribesmen and Tribeswomen drop it as well.
The Cleaning cloth is tradeable and noteable, and it weighs 1 kg. It is not stackable. It trades on the Grand Exchange with a buy limit of 40 every 4 hours. This is a handy item for any player who wants to remove poison or reset the look of a whip or bow.
