Cooked chicken is a basic food item in Old School RuneScape. Eating one restores 3 Hitpoints. It is a simple and cheap way to heal on low level accounts.

This food is popular with new players. Chickens are easy to kill at the Lumbridge East Farm, and the raw meat can be cooked on any fire or range at Cooking level 1. Each successful cook gives 30 Cooking experience. The chicken stops burning at Cooking level 34, or level 31 when using the Lumbridge Castle range after finishing Cook's Assistant.

Cooked chicken is more than just food. It is also an ingredient for other recipes. Players can use it to make stew, curry, meat pizza, and uncooked meat pie. It also works as a material for a Forester's ration.

The item is tradeable and noteable, so it is easy to buy, sell, or carry in bulk. It is not stackable and cannot be equipped. Each piece weighs 0.141 kg.
