Description

The Crystal ball flatpack is a rare item in Old School RuneScape. It is a flatpack version of the crystal ball, a piece of furniture found in the study of a player-owned house. This flatpack cannot be made in the game. It was planned when the Construction skill was being built in 2005 or 2006, but it was scrapped before launch. The object was never deleted, so it still exists in the live game.

The normal crystal ball is built in the crystal balls hotspot of the study. It needs level 42 Construction, 3 teak planks, and 1 unpowered orb, and it gives 280 experience. Players can use an elemental staff on it to change the staff's element for free. The flatpack version cannot be built or made at the workbench.

Most other study flatpacks were removed from the Grand Exchange in April 2016, but the crystal ball flatpacks are still listed there. The item is members only and tradeable. It cannot be equipped or stacked, but it can be noted. It weighs 1 kg and has item ID 8624. This makes it a unique piece for collectors of unobtainable items.
