Description

The Teak plank is a members-only item in Old School RuneScape used to train the Construction skill. Players use teak planks to build furniture in a player-owned house, often for pieces between level 35 and 65. Each plank gives 90 Construction experience, and a full inventory of six dining tables gives 2160 experience.

Teak planks can give even more experience in other ways. Building a mounted mythical cape in the Quest Hall gives 123.3 experience per plank. Adept Mahogany Homes contracts give an average of 280.35 experience per plank with the completion bonus. Fixing broken bridges in the Hallowed Sepulchre gives 225 experience per plank, but this also needs adamantite nails. Teak repair kits give 67.5 experience per plank.

Players can make teak planks by taking teak logs to a sawmill for 500 coins each, or by using the Plank Make spell, which needs level 86 Magic and the Dream Mentor quest. Buying planks skips these costs and steps so training can start right away.

The Teak plank is tradeable on the Grand Exchange, noteable, and non-stackable. It weighs 0.8 kg and has item ID 8780.
