The Dragon kiteshield ornament kit is a rare cosmetic item in Old School RuneScape. It comes as a possible reward from master Treasure Trails, found in a Reward casket (master) at a rarity of 1 in 25,530. That makes it a hard item to get on your own.
The kit attaches to a dragon kiteshield and turns it into a dragon kiteshield (g). This is a gold trimmed version of the shield. The stats stay the same, so the change is purely for looks. It is a great way to stand out and show off in game.
Once the kit is attached, the shield becomes untradeable. You can detach the kit at any time to get it back, and then you can sell it again. The kit itself is tradeable, so you can buy one instead of grinding master clue scrolls.
