The Dragon platebody ornament kit is a cosmetic item in Old School RuneScape. It comes from master Treasure Trails as a rare reward from the reward casket, with a drop rate of 1 in 12,765. It is a members-only item.
The kit attaches to a dragon platebody. This turns the armour into a dragon platebody (g), which has a gold trim look. The kit is purely decorative. It does not change the stats of the platebody in any way. You do not need any skill levels or experience to attach it.
Once the kit is attached, the dragon platebody (g) becomes untradeable. You can get the kit back at any time by using the Dismantle option on the armour. After that, the kit can be traded or sold again.
The kit itself is tradeable but not equipable and not stackable. It weighs 0.5 kg and has the item ID 22236. It was released on 25 January 2018. Players want this kit to stand out with a rare gold-trimmed look on one of the most well-known melee chest pieces in the game.
