The dragon scimitar is the strongest scimitar in Old School RuneScape. It is a curved slash weapon for members. To wield it, you need 60 Attack and the Monkey Madness I quest.

This weapon is a top pick for training Strength. Weapons like the abyssal whip cannot train Strength on its own, but the dragon scimitar can. It has a Slash bonus of +67, a Strength bonus of +66, and a fast attack speed of 2.4 seconds. That mix makes it great for melee training.

The dragon scimitar has a special attack called Sever. It uses 55% of your special attack energy and hits with higher accuracy. In PvP, a hit turns off the target's protection prayers for a short time. This stops Protect from Magic, Protect from Missiles, and Protect from Melee, which makes it a strong tool in player fights.

You can attach a dragon scimitar ornament kit to change its look. This is only for style and does not change its stats. The kit can be removed later. The dragon scimitar is also needed for an elite clue scroll task from Sherlock.
