Description
The Dragon scimitar ornament kit is a cosmetic item in Old School RuneScape (OSRS). It comes as a reward from elite Treasure Trails. When you attach it to a dragon scimitar, it becomes a dragon scimitar (or), a gold-trimmed version of the classic weapon.
The kit only changes how the scimitar looks. It does not add any combat bonuses. The dragon scimitar (or) keeps the same stats, with +67 slash attack and +66 strength. To wield it, you need 60 Attack and the Monkey Madness I quest done. This is a members only item.
The ornamented scimitar is untradeable, but you can take the kit off at any time. This returns the tradeable scimitar and the kit, so nothing is lost. The kit itself is tradeable on the Grand Exchange and can be noted.
Players want this kit to stand out. The gold trim gives one of the most iconic weapons in OSRS a fresh look. The dragon scimitar (or) also works for Falo the Bard clue steps, so you do not need a plain scimitar for that. You can even store it in the treasure chest of your costume room.
