Description
The Emerald ring is a piece of jewellery in Old School RuneScape. It is a free-to-play item that any player can wear. The ring has no combat stats on its own, but it has some useful jobs in the game.
Players make an Emerald ring with the Crafting skill. It needs level 27 Crafting, one gold bar, one emerald, and a ring mould. Use the gold bar on a furnace to make the ring and get 55 Crafting experience. The whole process takes only 1.8 seconds.
The ring can be enchanted with the Lvl-2 Enchant spell, which needs level 27 Magic. This turns it into a ring of dueling, a members item that teleports players to minigame spots. The plain ring can also be sold to Grum's Gold Exchange in Port Sarim for up to 892 coins each.
The Emerald ring is needed for two Easy Treasure Trails emote clues. One asks you to clap on the bridge to the Wizards' Tower. The other asks you to jig by the Fishing Guild entrance. The ring is tradeable, noteable, and very light at 0.006 kg, so it is easy to keep on hand.
