Description

The enhanced crystal weapon seed is a rare item in Old School RuneScape. It is a stronger version of the crystal weapon seed. It drops from the Gauntlet reward chest at a rate of 1 in 2,000, or 1 in 400 from the Corrupted Gauntlet.

This seed can be sung into two of the best crystal weapons in the game. At a singing bowl, players can turn it into the Blade of Saeldor or the Bow of Faerdhinen. Each weapon needs the seed plus 100 crystal shards, along with level 82 Smithing and level 82 Crafting. These levels can be boosted. Singing the seed also grants 5,000 Smithing XP and 5,000 Crafting XP.

Players who do not have the levels can ask Conwenna or Reese to sing the crystal for them. This costs an extra 50 shards, for a total of 150.

The seed can also be traded to Amrod in the Hefin Inn in Prifddinas for 1,500 crystal shards. It is a members-only item. It is tradeable, not stackable, and cannot be equipped. This makes it a great pick for players who want a top crystal weapon without grinding the Gauntlet.
