The Felling axe handle is an item in Old School RuneScape used to make felling axes. It is a large handle that turns a regular axe into a felling axe. To use it, stand near an anvil with a hammer in your inventory. Then use the handle on your axe. This change cannot be undone.

The handle works with these axes: Bronze, Iron, Steel, Black, Mithril, Adamant, Rune, Dragon, 3rd age, and Crystal. Each combination grants 5 experience. The Crystal axe needs level 71 in both Smithing and Crafting and gives 5 XP in each skill.

Felling axes are handy because the game uses them first when you chop trees, even if you are wielding a normal axe. The handle itself can be obtained in free-to-play, but the felling axes it makes are members-only.

In the game, the handle costs 10,000 anima-infused bark and 500 noted oak logs at a Forestry Shop. These shops are found at Draynor Village, Seers' Village, Prifddinas, and Nemus Retreat. The item is tradeable and noteable, and it weighs 0.907 kg. It is a solid pick for players who want to upgrade their Woodcutting setup.
