Description

Fine cloth is a members-only item in Old School RuneScape. It is a material used to make splitbark armour. The item is tradeable, so it can be bought and sold on the Grand Exchange. It is not stackable, cannot be worn, and weighs 1 kg. Its examine text reads "Amazingly untouched by time."

Players normally get fine cloth from chests in the Shades of Mort'ton minigame. Any chest above bronze can hold it, and higher level chests give a better chance of finding it. Buying fine cloth skips this grind.

Fine cloth has two main uses. Players can bring it with bark and coins to Wizard Jalarast in the Wizards' Tower, who makes splitbark armour with no Crafting level needed. Players can also craft the armour themselves with a needle and thread. Boots and gauntlets need level 60 Crafting and 1 fine cloth each. The helm needs level 61 and 2 fine cloth. The legs need level 62 and 3 fine cloth. The body needs level 62 and 4 fine cloth. A full set of splitbark armour takes 11 pieces of fine cloth in total.
