Description

Goat horn dust is a Herblore item in Old School RuneScape. It is made by grinding a desert goat horn with a pestle and mortar. Its examine text reads "Finely ground desert goat horn."

Players use goat horn dust to make combat potions. Mix the dust with a harralander potion (unf) at level 36 Herblore. This makes a combat potion(3) and gives 84 Herblore experience. Combat potions are a solid way to train Herblore at mid levels.

Getting the dust yourself takes work. Desert goat horns drop from goats and billy goats in the Kharidian Desert. The goats west of the bank in Nardah are the best spot to kill them. The desert heat can hurt you there, so players often bring waterskins or desert gear. Buying the dust skips all of that and saves time.

Goat horn dust is a members item. It is tradeable and noteable, but it does not stack and cannot be equipped. It weighs 0.453 kg. The item came out on 18 October 2006. Stock up on goat horn dust to train Herblore fast without hours of goat grinding.
