Description

Guthan's armour set is a full set of Barrows gear from Old School RuneScape. The set has four pieces: Guthan's helm, platebody, chainskirt, and warspear. You need level 70 Defence to wear the armour and level 70 Attack to use the spear. It is a members item.

The set effect is called Infestation. When all four pieces are worn, each hit has a 25% chance to heal you for the damage you deal. This means you can fight for a long time with little or no food. Many players use it to train combat at spots like Bandits or Dagannoths, or in places like the TzHaar Fight Cave where inventory space is tight.

The armour also has strong defensive bonuses, so it works well for mid- to high-level players. Note that the warspear is two-handed, so a shield cannot be used with the set.

Barrows gear degrades over 15 hours of combat but does not lose power as it wears down. It can be repaired by NPCs or at an armour stand in a player-owned house, where a higher Smithing level lowers the cost.
