Description
The Guthix balance(4) is a four dose potion in Old School RuneScape. It is a special restore potion made from harralander, red spiders eggs, garlic, and silver dust. Players use it to fight Vampyre Juveniles and Juvinates in Morytania.
You cannot drink this potion. Instead, you freeze a vampyre with the rod of ivandis, Ivandis flail, or blisterwood flail. Then you use a dose of the potion on it. There is a 68% chance the vampyre turns back into a human. There is a 16% chance it is destroyed and a 16% chance it becomes feral.
Making this potion needs level 22 Herblore and partial completion of the In Aid of the Myreque quest. You must beat Gadderanks in the quest and talk to him to learn the recipe. Each dose gives 25 Herblore XP and takes 1.2 seconds to make. Since there is no Make-x menu, you can make these as fast as you can click. With good focus, players can gain up to 125,000 Herblore XP per hour.
