Description

The OSRS iron warhammer is a crush weapon in Old School RuneScape. It is stronger than the bronze warhammer, and players can wield it at level 1. This makes it a solid pick for new characters who want to train early combat levels.

The iron warhammer has a crush attack bonus of +11 and comes with a strength bonus. It has three combat styles. Pound trains Attack, Pummel trains Strength, and Block trains Defence. All three styles use crush attacks.

This weapon has a handy trick too. It works in place of a regular hammer when banging the big door at the entrance of Bandos' Stronghold in the God Wars Dungeon. That saves an inventory slot on trips there.

Players with level 24 Smithing can make one at an anvil using 3 iron bars, which gives 75 Smithing experience. A free one spawns in the ruined castle near the bandits south-west of the Hosidius Mess. Members can also buy it from Vigr's Warhammers in Keldagrim or from Skulgrimen's Battle Gear in Rellekka after finishing The Fremennik Trials.
