The jade machete is a members-only weapon in Old School RuneScape. It is used to repair the Tai Bwo Wannai gates on Karamja. It is the second-highest tier of machete in the game. Only the red topaz machete is better.

This machete is a slashing weapon with a slash attack bonus of +11 and a strength bonus of +6. It has a fast attack speed of 4 ticks, which is 2.4 seconds per hit. It offers four combat styles: Chop, Slash, Lunge, and Block.

Players can get the jade machete from Safta Doc in northern Tai Bwo Wannai Village, or from Gabooty's Cooperative store for 1,200 trading sticks. The price drops to 1,000 sticks when wearing any tier of the Karamja gloves. Getting one requires favour from the Tai Bwo Wannai Cleanup minigame. One machete is also needed from Safta Doc for the Karamja Achievement Diary. That trade costs a gout tuber, 3 cut or uncut jade, and 600 trading sticks.

The jade machete is tradeable, equipable, and noteable. It weighs 1.36 kg. It is a handy pick for players working through jungle tasks on Karamja.
