Description

Karil's crossbow is a two-handed ranged weapon from Old School RuneScape. It is part of Karil the Tainted's Barrows set. You need level 70 Ranged to wield it. It fires bolt racks, which break when fired.

This crossbow works like a shortbow. It shoots fast, with a rapid attack speed of 3 ticks. It has a ranged attack bonus of +84 and an attack range of 8 tiles. Longrange style adds 2 tiles. You give up your shield slot, but you can gain higher damage per second.

Wear it with the other three pieces of Karil's set for a set effect. Each hit has a chance to lower your target's Agility level. Add an amulet of the damned with the full set for a 25% chance to deal a second hit for half damage.

Like all Barrows gear, it degrades with use. It lasts 15 hours of combat and does not lose power as it wears down. An NPC can repair it for 100,000 coins. An armour stand in a player-owned house costs less, based on your Smithing level. It can only be traded when fully repaired or fully degraded.
