Buy OSRS Leaping sturgeon
The leaping sturgeon is a fish in Old School RuneScape. It comes from barbarian fishing. Players catch it at Otto's Grotto or Mount Quidamortem with a barbarian rod and bait. Catching one needs 70 Fishing, 45 Strength, and 45 Agility. It must be caught after starting the Barbarian Training miniquest.
Each catch gives 80 Fishing experience, 7 Strength experience, and 7 Agility experience. This makes it a strong pick for players who want fast Fishing training with bonus skill gains at the same time.
The leaping sturgeon cannot be cooked. Instead, players can gut it with a knife. Gutting can give caviar and fish offcuts. Caviar gives 15 Cooking experience, and it is sturgeon roe. The leaping sturgeon is the only leaping fish that gives caviar. Both the caviar and the offcuts work as bait, so players can save some feathers while they fish.
Cutting leaping fish is automatic when a knife is used on one, though cutting them by hand is faster. When gutting a full inventory, it helps to keep one space open so fish offcuts can still be gained. The leaping sturgeon weighs 1 kg.
