Buy OSRS Fish offcuts
Fish offcuts are a members-only fishing bait item in Old School RuneScape. They are made by using a knife on most types of raw fish. They are tradeable, stackable, weigh nothing, and can be stored in a tackle box.
Fish offcuts have many uses. They work as bait for Barbarian Fishing, where they are used before other bait types like fishing bait, feathers, roe, and caviar. They can also replace king worms when feeding your cormorant during aerial fishing. On average, one offcut lasts about 3.5 catches there.
They are handy for deep sea trawling too. Players can use them to bait shimmering, giant krill, and haddock shoals. A chum station on a boat can prepare them and spread them into the sea. They also work as bait for crab traps.
Making offcuts by hand takes time. Cutting raw fish gives one every 3 ticks, and this cannot be sped up. Buying a stack of fish offcuts saves that time. It lets players jump straight into Barbarian Fishing, aerial fishing, or deep sea trawling with plenty of bait ready to go.
