Buy OSRS Long kebbit spike
Description
The Long kebbit spike is a members only item in Old School RuneScape. Players get these spikes as loot from tracking Razor-backed kebbits, which requires level 49 Hunter. The examine text says these bone spikes are both very tough and very sharp.
The spike is used to make Long kebbit bolts. With level 42 Fletching, use a chisel on a spike to make 12 Long kebbit bolts and gain 7.9 Fletching XP. These bolts can only be fired from a hunters' crossbow. Before an update on 20 March 2024, each spike made only six bolts, so it now gives twice as many.
Players who do not have the Fletching level have another option. Bring a spike and 40 coins to Leon inside Aleck's Hunter Emporium in Yanille. He will trade it for 12 Long kebbit bolts.
The Long kebbit spike is tradeable and noteable, so it is easy to buy, sell, or carry in bulk. It is not equipable and not stackable, and it weighs 0.04 kg. It is a solid pick for players who want cheap ammo for the hunters' crossbow or easy Fletching XP.
