Description
The Hunters' crossbow is a fast crossbow in Old School RuneScape. You need level 50 Ranged to wield it. It is a members-only item made of bone and wood.
This crossbow fires as fast as a shortbow. On the Rapid style, it shoots every 3 ticks, which is 1.8 seconds. Most crossbows are slower than this. It has a Ranged attack bonus of +55, which beats a steel crossbow. Its speed and low cost make it a popular pick for PvP fights.
The crossbow uses kebbit bolts and long kebbit bolts as ammo. It has an attack range of 8 tiles. The Longrange style adds 2 more tiles, for a range of 10. You can also pick the Accurate style for a boost to accuracy and damage.
The Hunters' crossbow can grow with you. If you have level 74 Fletching, you can upgrade it into the hunters' sunlight crossbow. Just use a sunlight antelope antler on it while you have a chisel in your inventory. The upgraded version has a +79 Ranged attack bonus and works with grapples.
