Description
Magic logs are logs cut from magic trees in Old School RuneScape. Cutting them yourself needs level 75 Woodcutting, and the trees are slow to chop. Even with a dragon axe, players only get around 130 logs per hour. Buying magic logs saves that time.
Magic logs are great for training Fletching. With level 80 Fletching, each log can be made into an unstrung magic shortbow for 83.3 experience. With level 85, each log makes an unstrung magic longbow for 91.5 experience.
They also work well for Firemaking. Burning a magic log needs level 75 Firemaking and gives 303.8 experience per log. Six logs can be used to light an Abyssal lantern. Burning one is also needed for a master clue scroll skill task from Sherlock.
Some quests need magic logs too. Desert Treasure I needs twelve, Mourning's End Part I needs one, and unlocking the Gnome Stronghold balloon route needs three. That route is required for Monkey Madness II. In total, that adds up to sixteen logs for quests.
Magic logs are a smart pick for players who want fast skill training without hours of chopping.
