Description
The Dragon axe is one of the best axes in Old School RuneScape. It cuts logs about 10% faster than the rune axe. You need level 61 Woodcutting to use it as a tool. You can also wield it as a weapon with level 60 Attack. It works well for both cutting trees and fighting, with a strength bonus of +42.
The axe has a special attack called Lumber Up. It uses all of your special attack energy and boosts your Woodcutting level by 3. With this boost, you can start chopping with the axe at level 58 Woodcutting. The boost does not stop you from cutting if you are already chopping a tree.
The Dragon axe can be upgraded later. You can add a smouldering stone to make an infernal axe with level 85 Firemaking. You can also turn it into a crystal axe with crystal shards and a crystal tool seed. Both upgrades make the axe even more useful.
This is a members only item. It is tradeable, so you can use it or sell it in game. It is a strong pick for any player who wants to train Woodcutting faster.
