Description

The marble block is a high-level building material in Old School RuneScape. Players use it to train the Construction skill and build furniture in a player-owned house. Each marble block gives 500 experience when used, and some pieces of furniture give even more.

Marble blocks are needed for many of the best rooms and items in a house. Players use them to build altars, thrones, fountains, portals, statues, staircases, fireplaces, and more. The popular gilded altar needs two marble blocks, along with other materials like gold leaf and mahogany planks.

Unlike limestone bricks, players cannot make marble blocks themselves. In the game, they must be bought from special shops for a high price of 325,000 coins each. That cost adds up fast when a build calls for several blocks at once.

Marble blocks are members-only items. They are tradeable and noteable, but they are not stackable or equipable. Any player who wants to build a top-tier house will need a good supply of marble blocks to reach high Construction levels and unlock the best furniture in the game.
