The Mithril med helm is a medium sized helmet in Old School RuneScape. It is made of mithril and fits in the helmet slot. You need 20 Defence to wear it. It gives more protection than the bronze, iron, and steel med helms.
This helm gives solid defence bonuses. It adds +10 to Stab defence, +11 to Slash defence, +9 to Crush defence, and +10 to Ranged defence. It has a small Magic penalty of -3 to attack and -1 to defence. The helm is light and weighs only 1.36 kg.
Players can make this helm at level 53 Smithing with one mithril bar at an anvil. This gives 50 Smithing experience. It also drops from monsters like Wall beasts, Skeleton brutes, and Moss Giants in the Iorwerth Dungeon.
