Description

Mithril nails are a stackable, tradeable item in Old School RuneScape. They are members only and weigh nothing, so a full stack takes up just one inventory slot.

These nails are made with Smithing. A player with level 54 Smithing can use a mithril bar on an anvil with a hammer to make 15 mithril nails. This gives 50 Smithing experience per bar.

Mithril nails have many uses. Players can build certain types of wooden furniture with them. With 56 Construction, five nails and two oak planks repair broken bridges in the Hallowed Sepulchre for 300 Construction experience. Without a hallowed hammer, there is a chance to fail the repair and break some nails.

With 49 Fletching, players can use these nails on flighted ogre arrows to make mithril brutal arrows. Each arrow gives 7.5 Fletching experience. With 69 Crafting, fifteen nails combine with a yew shield and two pieces of blue dragon leather to make a blue d'hide shield. Each shield gives 140 Crafting experience.
