Description

The Mud battlestaff is a mud elemental staff in Old School RuneScape. When you hold it, you get unlimited water runes and unlimited earth runes. It also lets you autocast spells. You need level 30 Attack and level 30 Magic to wield it.

This staff is great for curse spells. Almost all curse spells use both water and earth runes, so this staff covers them for free. That saves a lot of runes and money over time.

The staff gives a +28 magic attack bonus and a +12 magic defence bonus. It also has a +7 slash bonus for melee. Its attack speed is 5 ticks, which is 3.0 seconds, for both melee and autocast.

The Mud battlestaff is rare in the game. It only drops from the boss Dagannoth Prime at a rate of 1 in 128. Getting one this way can take a long time.

You can also upgrade it later. Take the staff and 40,000 coins to Thormac to make a mystic mud staff, which has better melee and magic bonuses. The cost drops to 30,000 or 20,000 coins with the hard or elite Kandarin diaries.
