Description

The Myre snelm is a helmet in Old School RuneScape made from a snail shell. It has a marshy color and comes in two shapes, round and pointed. It is a members only item that is tradeable and equipable, and it weighs 2 kg.

This helmet is great against snails. It cuts the damage you take from snails by 4. That makes it a smart pick if you cannot use Protect from Missiles, since the damage it blocks is significant. The round snelm has stats close to a steel med helm, but it has no requirements to wear. Any player can put it on.

The snelm gives solid defence bonuses. It grants +7 Stab, +8 Slash, +6 Crush, and +7 Ranged defence. It gives -1 Magic defence. For attack, it gives -3 Magic and -1 Ranged, with no change to Stab, Slash, or Crush.

Players can also make a Myre snelm with level 15 Crafting. Using a chisel on a blamish myre shell creates the snelm and grants 32.5 Crafting experience. Rakkar in the Fishing Hamlet wears one of these helmets.
