Description
Ogre arrows are special arrows in Old School RuneScape. They have a bone tip and a large wooden shaft. Each arrow gives a ranged attack bonus of +22. They are stackable, tradeable, and weigh nothing, so they are easy to carry in large amounts.
These arrows can only be fired from an ogre bow or a composite ogre bow. Players use them to hunt large game birds like Chompy birds and Jubbly birds. They are needed for the quest Big Chompy Bird Hunting. They are also needed for the Freeing Skrach Uglogwee part of Recipe for Disaster.
Players can make ogre arrows with level 5 Fletching. This takes achey tree logs, feathers, and wolfbone arrowtips made from wolf bones with a chisel. Making them by hand gives 1.0 Fletching experience per arrow. Buying a stack saves all that work.
Ogre arrows are a members only item. Ava's devices will pick them up for you, even though they are not made of metal. In the quest, Rantz calls them "stabbers". A good supply of these arrows makes Chompy bird hunting fast and simple, which helps with quests and the Western Provinces diary.
