Description

Wolf bones are a members only item in Old School RuneScape. They come from killing wolves and werewolves. This includes white wolves, ice wolves, dire wolves, desert wolves, and jungle wolves. Each kill always drops one bone. Wolf bones look a lot like regular bones but have a slight grey color.

Wolf bones give 4.5 Prayer experience when buried. Players can get more experience by offering them in other ways. Sinister Offering gives 13.5 XP. A gilded altar with two burners lit gives 15.7 XP, and so does the Chaos Temple. The best option is the Ectofuntus, which gives 18 XP when the bones are turned into wolf bonemeal.

Wolf bones are also useful for Fletching. Members can use a chisel on them to make wolfbone arrowtips, which tip ogre arrows. This needs partial completion of Big Chompy Bird Hunting. Each set of bones makes 2 to 6 arrowtips. Wolf bones are also needed to make an Unstrung comp bow, along with one achey tree log.

Wolf bones are tradeable and can be noted. They weigh 0.5 kg and have a buy limit of 13,000 every 4 hours.
