Description

Olive oil(3) is a members-only item in Old School RuneScape. It holds 3 doses of olive oil. Its main use is in the Shades of Mort'ton quest and the Shades of Mort'ton minigame, where players burn shade remains on pyre logs.

Olive oil is the key item for making sacred oil. First, players must help rebuild the Temple of Mort'ton, found north-east of the town. Once the temple is restored, players can light the altar fire and use olive oil on it. This turns the oil into sacred oil, which is needed to prepare pyre logs. Sanctifying the oil consumes sanctity, and players need at least 10% sanctity to do it.

In the game, olive oil can be bought from Razmire's general store in Mort'ton for 28 coins or from Rasolo the wandering merchant for 40 coins. It is also sometimes given as a reward for using Serum 207 or Serum 208 on the Afflicted in Mort'ton.

Olive oil(3) is tradeable but not stackable, and it weighs nothing. It has a Grand Exchange buy limit of 10,000 every 4 hours, so players can stock up for long minigame sessions.
