The onyx bracelet is a high level piece of jewelry in Old School RuneScape. It is made by using a gold bar, an onyx, and a bracelet mould on a furnace. This requires level 84 Crafting and gives 125 experience. Onyx is the second best gem in the game, behind only zenyte. The bracelet looks like it is made fully of onyx, even though it uses a gold bar.
On its own, the onyx bracelet has no bonuses. Its real value comes from enchanting. Casting the Lvl-6 Enchant spell on it at level 87 Magic turns it into a regen bracelet and gives 97 Magic experience.
The regen bracelet doubles your natural Hitpoints regeneration, healing 2 Hitpoints per minute instead of 1. This stacks with the Rapid Heal prayer or the Hitpoints cape. It is great for activities with low, steady damage, like Wintertodt, Zalcano, Pyramid Plunder, and pickpocketing. Its combat bonuses beat the combat bracelet and mithril gloves, and it has no requirements to equip. That makes it the best melee hand slot item for players with 1 Defence.
