Orange slices are a food item in Old School RuneScape. Players make them by using a knife on an orange. Eating orange slices heals 2 hitpoints. They are a members only item.
Orange slices have a few key uses. They are needed in the Goblin part of the Recipe for Disaster quest. They are also part of gnome cooking. In the final step of making a pineapple punch cocktail, orange slices must be in the inventory along with 1 lime chunks and 1 pineapple chunks to pour a mixed punch into a cocktail glass.
Players can also use orange slices with black, green, blue, or purple dye to make a dyed orange.
Oranges come from a Farming tree patch, or from shops and NPCs at the Grand Tree. Orange slices are tradeable, noteable, and edible. They are not equipable and do not stack. Each one weighs 0.09 kg. The item ID is 2112, and the item was released on 12 December 2002.
