Description

The pointed bruise blue snelm is a helmet in Old School RuneScape. It is a moody blue pointed snail shell that you wear on your head. It reduces the damage you take from snails by 12. This helps a lot if you cannot use Protect from Missiles yet.

The snelm has stats close to a steel med helm, but it has no requirements to equip. It gives +7 stab, +8 slash, +6 crush, and +7 ranged defence. It also gives -1 magic defence, -3 magic attack, and -1 ranged attack. It weighs 2 kg.

Players also need this snelm for a medium clue scroll. One of Uri's emote clues asks for it at the Shantay Pass STASH unit, along with the Jig and Bow emotes. Only the pointed version works for the clue. The round snelm does not count.

The snelm is made by using a chisel on the pointed shell dropped by a Bruise Blamish Snail. This needs level 15 Crafting and gives 32.5 experience. The item is members-only, tradeable, and noteable. It was released on 14 October 2004.
