Description

The Ranging mix(2) is a barbarian potion in Old School RuneScape. It boosts your Ranged level by 4 to 13 and heals 6 Hitpoints with each dose. The boost depends on your Ranged level. At level 90 or higher, you get the full +13 boost. This makes it a handy pick for slayer tasks and long trips where you want both a Ranged boost and a small heal from one item.

The mix is made by adding caviar to a ranging potion(2). This needs level 80 Herblore and the Herblore part of Barbarian training with Otto Godblessed. Making one gives 54 Herblore experience. Mixing a ranging mix is also a possible step in a Sherlock master clue.

The heal effect is small, so players often re-pot while camping a spot. The boost wears off by 1 level every 60 seconds, or every 90 seconds with the Preserve prayer on.

This item is members only. It is tradeable and noteable, but it does not stack and cannot be equipped. It weighs 0.045 kg. Once all doses are used or emptied, it becomes a regular empty vial.
