Description

The Ranging potion(2) is a two dose potion in Old School RuneScape. Each dose gives a temporary boost to your Ranged level. The boost equals 4 plus 10% of your current Ranged level, rounded down. A player at level 50 gets a boost of 9. A player at level 99 gets a boost of 13.

The boost fades by 1 level every 60 seconds. With the Preserve prayer, it fades every 90 seconds instead. This makes the potion a strong pick for bosses, Slayer tasks, and any fight where you use a bow or crossbow.

Players with 72 Herblore can make this potion by mixing a wine of Zamorak with a dwarf weed potion (unf). You can also upgrade it. Adding crystal dust makes a divine ranging potion at 74 Herblore. After Barbarian Herblore Training, adding caviar at 80 Herblore makes a ranging mix, which gives the same boost and heals 6 Hitpoints.

The Ranging potion(2) is a members-only item. It is tradeable and noteable, so it is easy to move and store. It weighs almost nothing at 0.02 kg, so you can carry plenty on any trip.
