Description

Raw bass is a fish item in Old School RuneScape. Players catch it with a big fishing net at fishing spots. Catching raw bass needs level 46 Fishing and gives 100 Fishing experience per fish. This level cannot be boosted. Good spots to catch bass include Catherby, Land's End, and the Fishing Guild.

Raw bass can be cooked into bass on a fire or a cooking range. Cooking it needs level 43 Cooking and gives 130 Cooking experience. Cooked bass restores 13 Hitpoints when eaten. The fish stops burning at level 80 Cooking. Bass is also one of the fish Caleb asks for in the Family Crest quest.

Raw bass has another use too. Players who wear an activated ring of charos can give a raw bass to the Fossegrimen south of Rellekka. It works in place of a raw shark to enchant their lyre.

The item weighs 0.4 kg. It is tradeable and noteable, but it cannot be equipped or stacked. Raw bass is handy for Cooking training, quest needs, and cheap food for players.
