Raw bluefin is a members-only fish in Old School RuneScape. Players catch it from bluefin shoals while deep sea trawling. Catching it needs level 87 Fishing. A trawling net gives 220.5 Fishing experience per catch, while a fishing rod gives 44.1. It can also show up from glistening shoals at level 76 Fishing and vibrant shoals at level 86 Fishing.

Raw bluefin is used for Cooking training. Cooking it needs level 87 Cooking and gives 215 experience. A successful cook makes a bluefin, which restores 22 Hitpoints and 5 prayer points when eaten. A failed cook makes a burnt bluefin, and the burn chance drops as your Cooking level goes up.

This makes raw bluefin a strong pick for players who want fast Cooking experience or a stock of high-level food. The cooked fish heals well and gives prayer points too, which helps in long fights and trips.

The item is tradeable and noteable, so it is easy to store and move in bulk. It is not stackable and not equipable, and it weighs 0.7 kg. Raw bluefin can also drop from the Veiled Kraken.
