Raw boar meat is a food item in Old School RuneScape. It drops from boars in the woods west of Kourend Castle and south of The Node. Boars at level 5 and 7 always drop one, and the level 12 Enraged Boar always drops one too.

You cannot eat raw boar meat right away. It must be cooked first. You only need level 1 Cooking to cook it. A successful cook turns it into cooked meat and gives 30 Cooking experience. If it burns, it becomes burnt meat. You can burn it at any level by cooking it twice.

Raw boar meat has another use. You can use it on a range at level 1 Cooking to make sinew. This gives 3 Cooking experience. Sinew is handy for players training other skills.
