Description

Cooked meat is a basic food item in Old School RuneScape. Eating one piece restores 3 Hitpoints. It is a free-to-play item that works well as cheap, simple food for new players and low level training.

Cooked meat is made by cooking raw meats like raw beef, raw bear meat, raw boar meat, raw rat meat, or raw yak meat on a fire or cooking range. It needs only level 1 Cooking and gives 30 experience each time. Meat can burn at low levels, but it stops burning at level 34, or level 31 on the Lumbridge Castle range after Cook's Assistant is done.

Cooked meat is also a useful ingredient. Players use it to make stews, pies, and steak sandwiches, or as a topping on pizzas. It can even be burned on purpose, since one burnt meat is needed for the Witch's Potion quest.

The item is tradeable, noteable, and edible. It is not stackable and cannot be equipped. With low cost and many uses, cooked meat is a handy item to keep in the bank for food, cooking, and quest needs.
