Description

Raw shrimps are the first fish players can catch in Old School RuneScape. You only need level 1 Fishing and a small fishing net. No bait is needed. Each catch gives 10 Fishing experience, which makes raw shrimps a simple way to start training the skill.

Raw shrimps can be cooked into shrimps at level 1 Cooking. Cooking them on a range gives 30 Cooking experience, and cooking them on a fire gives 33. Players stop burning them at level 33 on a range or level 35 on a fire. Raw shrimps can also be fed to a growing kitten.

Net fishing spots for raw shrimps are found in many places. These include Lumbridge Swamp near the Fishing tutor, Draynor Village near the willow trees and the bank, Al Kharid near the Shantay Pass, Catherby at the beach near White Wolf Mountain, Port Sarim, Land's End, and Port Piscarilius. More spots are at Entrana, the Fishing Platform east of Witchaven, Tai Bwo Wannai Village, the Isle of Souls, and the east coast of Varlamore.
