Description
The Redwood hiking staff is a one-handed crush weapon in Old School RuneScape. It is made from a knife and one set of redwood logs. Even though it is a staff, it has no magic power and cannot autocast spells. Its main use is as a totem decoration in the Vale Totems minigame.
The staff has a crush attack bonus of +10. It attacks once every 3.0 seconds. You can fight with three styles: Pound for Attack, Pummel for Strength, and Block for Defence. It is a members item, and you can trade, equip, and note it.
You can make the staff with level 90 Fletching using one redwood log. Each craft gives 10.5 Fletching experience and takes 1.8 seconds. You do not need any special tools or buildings besides a knife.
The staff also helps with training. Four redwood hiking staves plus one redwood log can be turned into 105 Vale offerings. This needs level 90 Fletching and level 1 Construction, and it gives 3,788 experience. This makes the staff a handy item for players working on high level Fletching goals or the Vale Totems minigame.
