Description

Redwood logs are logs cut from redwood trees in Old School RuneScape. These trees grow in the Woodcutting Guild, and players with level 90 Farming can also grow them from a redwood sapling in the Farming Guild. Chopping them needs level 90 Woodcutting.

Redwood logs are great for Firemaking training. Burning one log needs level 90 Firemaking and gives 350 experience. The logs have other uses too. They can be fletched into 105 arrow shafts, a redwood shield, or a redwood hiking staff. Players also use them to make redwood pyre logs, a redwood bird house, or a redwood fence in the superior garden of a player-owned house. They can light the Abyssal lantern and help craft a perfected quetzal whistle.

These logs matter for master clue scrolls as well. Sherlock can ask players to burn a redwood log, or to chop one while wearing the full lumberjack outfit.

Redwood logs are tradeable and noteable, so they are easy to buy and move around. Buying them saves the long grind of chopping redwoods, so players can train Firemaking or Fletching right away.
