Description

The repair kit is a members item in Old School RuneScape. It is the Tier 1 wooden repair kit used in the Sailing skill. When your boat takes damage at sea, you can click the kit's Apply option to heal 5 health to the boat. More than one player can apply kits at the same time, so a crew can fix a boat fast. Crewmates can also repair the boat when told to, and with a high Deckhandiness level they may heal more than 5 per kit.

Using a kit during boat combat adds a short delay, like eating food. The wooden repair kit is the only kit you can make without a shipwrights' workbench. Just use the parts on each other in your inventory. It takes 2 planks, 10 bronze nails, and 5 swamp paste, and gives 43.5 Construction experience.

This kit is the first in a line of seven repair kits. Higher tiers like Oak, Teak, and Rosewood heal more health per use. The kit is tradeable and noteable, but not stackable. It weighs 0.5 kg. A repair kit is a smart item to keep on hand for any player training Sailing.
