Description

Swamp paste is a members-only item in Old School RuneScape. It is a tar-like substance mixed with flour and warmed over a fire. It is stackable, tradeable, and weighs nothing, so it is easy to carry in large amounts.

Players use swamp paste in many quests. It fixes leaks in Cabin Fever, repairs the boat in Sea Slug, repairs the bank in In Aid of the Myreque, and helps glue a page in The Slug Menace. It is also used to build the rowboat in Dragon Slayer II.

Swamp paste is handy in minigames too. It repairs boat leaks in the Fishing Trawler and repairs the temple in Shades of Mort'ton. It is also used to make repair kits and for a task from the Wise Old Man.

Making swamp paste takes time. You must mix flour with swamp tar, then cook it on a fire for 2 Cooking experience per paste. It cannot be cooked on a range. Buying a stack of swamp paste saves you all that work, so you can jump straight into your quest or minigame.
