Rosewood pyre logs
undefined
Rosewood pyre logs are rosewood logs prepared with sacred oil for a funeral pyre in Old School RuneScape. They are made by using a sacred oil (4) on rosewood logs, which gives 20 Firemaking experience. These logs are members only.
These pyre logs are used in the Shades of Mort'ton minigame to cremate shade remains. They can cremate the remains of all shades, including Loar, Phrin, Riyl, Asyn, Fiyr, and Urium. Only two types of pyre logs can cremate Urium remains, and rosewood pyre logs are one of them. The other is redwood pyre logs.
You need level 97 Firemaking to light them. Cremating a shade gives 590 Firemaking experience, or 870 if you have finished the Elite Morytania Diary. To use them, place the logs and a set of shade remains on a funeral pyre south or west of Mort'ton's centre. Light the pyre with a tinderbox to release the shade. This rewards Firemaking and Prayer experience, plus some coins or a key. The type of key depends only on the remains, not the logs.
Rosewood pyre logs are tradeable and noteable. They are not stackable or equipable.
