Rune brutal arrows are a type of ammo in Old School RuneScape. They are blunt rune arrows made for hitting hard. They have the highest ranged strength of all the brutal arrows, with a +60 ranged strength bonus.
These arrows work great for killing zogres and skogres at Jiggig. They also work well on chompy birds. Players who hunt these monsters want rune brutal arrows because they hit harder than any other brutal arrow.
Rune brutal arrows only work with a comp ogre bow. They will not work with a normal ogre bow, so make sure you have the right bow before you use them.
Players can also make these arrows with the Fletching skill. Making them needs level 77 Fletching and partial completion of the Zogre Flesh Eaters quest. Each arrow is made from a flighted ogre arrow and a rune nail. Each arrow gives 12.5 Fletching experience, and a batch of 6 gives 75 experience in just 1.2 seconds.
